Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) together with Oman’s Ministry of Interior will build a Reverse Osmosis plant at Wadi Al Omeiri’s government centre in Walayat Ibri.
The plant will provide clean water to the residents of Wadi Al Omeiri and other nearby communities in Oman .
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Ministry of Interior Undersecretary Sayyed Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi and PDO Human Resources Director, Mundhir bin Salem Al Barwani.
Barwani said: “PDO is proud to be providing an essential drinking water plant for the government centre and the community of Wadi Al Omeiri. This plant will provide abundant clean water for the residents of Wadi Al Omairi & government employees at the centre. From a safety perspective, it will reduce the driving exposure as the company will no longer truck water to Wadi Al Omeiry”.
