UAE, Italy to sign ship berthing fees agreement

United Arab Emirates is to sign a ship berthing fees agreement with Italy tomorrow, WAM reported.
To be signed by UAE Minister for Government Sector Development Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri and Mario Tasuni, It alian Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, the bilateral agreement is on reciprocal treatment in the area of payment of berthing fees payable by commercial ships.
In a pre-departure statement, Al Mansouri said the signing of the agreement reflects the strong desire of the two countries to further strengthen the existing relations of friendship between them and to further improve cooperation in the area of sea transport.
