Security against negative impacts of technology

The effect of modern technology on the security of family was the focus of the recently concluded national security awareness’ campaign.
The campaign held under the theme, A Stable Family is a Secured Family, tackled ways to prevent the negative aspects of modern technology in the family. It stresses the role of family control in achieving security and successful preventive measures.
The campaign was launched by Deputy Police Chief of Abu Dhabi, Major General Mohammed Khamis Al Juneibi on behalf of Interior Minister, Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“Family is one of the most vital institutions for the instilling of social, cultural and religious values in individuals, adding that family is the infrastructure under which social structure is based,” Sheikh Saif said in a statement adding that ministry had adopted a security strategy which promotes security awareness issues aimed at boosting security and stability.
“The stronger the family structure the more it reflects positively on the society, making the latter stronger and more secured, leading to a low rate of vices," he added.
