The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), a wholly-owned Dubai Government company has invested $11,000 to provide modern training for over 100 ENOC Quick Oil Change staff across the ENOC/EPPCO petroleum retail network.
Hussain Sultan, ENOC Chief Executive said: “The objective is to provide our staff with special skills our customer and equipment demand. It will also help develop customer confidence in the ENOC Super Lube service network.”
Bosch Automotive, a reputed German training and service centre was selected to conduct this workshop. Bosch’s professionally set up classroom and on the job training facilities enables the trainees to undergo in-depth technical training on the lubricating requirements of all brands of cars.
The participants are divided into 10 groups, with each group attending 10 sessions over three days. At the end of the training, the staff were certified QOC technicians who can perform routine service and fluid checks as well as minor inspections while oil change services are being carried out.
“Apart from the technical aspects, the training also focuses on the dynamics of employee and customer relations, communications, interpersonal relationships and professionalism. The programme also tackles personal safety, work area safety and preventive maintenance,” added Sultan.
