CCC Takes Delivery of Newly Built DP-2

Athens based Consolidated Contractors Company (CCICL) has recently taken delivery of its newly built Dynamically Positioned (DP-2) Multipurpose Offshore Construction Support Vessel, the CCC PIONEER.
The CCC PIONEER arrived at CCICL Mussafah, Abu Dhabi Jetty early March and is ready to commence works immediately.
The vessel will be operated and managed by CCC (Underwater Engineering), a wholly owned subsidiary of CCICL based in Abu Dhabi , UAE.
CCC Pioneer is a 83.5 m long DP-2 Dive Support Vessel with two completely separated engine rooms, a 75-Tons Heave Compensated Crane onboard, a 4 x 4 m aerated moon pool and 79 bed accommodation all in single or double bedrooms.
In addition to any type of Diving or ROV related modes of operation, CCC Pioneer can support many other types of subsea construction operations including the laying of subsea power cables and flexible pipelines, the installation of subsea pipelines support systems, stabilization systems installation, subsea tie-ins and spool pieces installation.
In addition, CCC (Underwater Engineering) will be using own IMCA certified Saturation and Air Diving Systems and ROV’s onboard the vessel, depending on the mode of operation that it is required to perform.
The vessel, the company assures, has been built to the latest marine regulations in force as well as the new regulations that have been advised by Class that will come into force in the near future. Further, it has been built with focus on the requirements of clients operating in the Gulf Area, India , Egypt and West Africa .
