Multimedia production unit opened

A multimedia production unit based in the Oman Ministry of Education has been formally opened by H.E. Dr. Muna bint Salim bin Khalfan al Jardaniah, Undersecretary for Education and Curriculum.
Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO) funded the development which will be used to produce multimedia learning packages and e-books for use by students and teachers.
PDO equipped the unit with state-of-the-art hardware and software. The Ministry will provide training in a number of multimedia disciplines such as image processing, sound and video editing and multimedia authoring.
PDO Managing Director John Malcolm said:” It has been PDO’s privilege to work with them on this important project.”
