Following an opening speech and presentations on “Bapco and the Environment”, highlighting the currently underway environmental compliance projects, a presentation was made on the Green School Award including types of projects, rules and judging criteria. Emphasis was made that schools’ projects should have the elements of team-work, community out-reach and sustainability as objectives. Out of 31 secondary schools in the Kingdom, 21 schools were represented by teachers and outstanding students. The remaining 10 schools have also been sent details of the Award scheme. The deadline for receiving individual school projects is end of April, 2005|
